Affiliate disclosure: how this site earns
This site takes part in the GetYourGuide affiliate programme. Book one of the six listings through a link here and the site earns a commission from GetYourGuide. You pay the platform’s price; the commission comes out of their side of the transaction, not yours.
Where the links are
Every tour card, every availability widget and every check-availability button. They open in a new tab and carry rel="nofollow noopener". No tour operator has paid to appear here, none has seen a page before it went up, and no operator company is named anywhere on this site, in any language.
The castle’s own ticket earns this site nothing
Worth stating first, because it is unusual. The Château de Castelnaud’s entry ticket is not sold on GetYourGuide at all: the listing that once carried it is delisted, and the castle sells admission at the gate and on its own site, every day of the year. There is no affiliate link to it anywhere here and no commission on it. Its 2026 rates are reproduced on tickets and 2026 prices so that the comparison with the online products sits in front of you rather than being implied.
What the commission does not change
Which listings appear: the six GetYourGuide products that work around the castle, each on all tours with its own two lists printed as the listing writes them. What each one is: none of them includes Castelnaud admission, the two canoe routes pass below the walls, the balloon flies over, the half day from Sarlat does not go there, the private tour substitutes Castelnaud for Beynac only from January to mid-February as the operator’s own note, and the sixth listing is the entry ticket for a different castle. What the ratings say: the Beynac ticket rests on thirteen ratings and the 15 km canoe route on ten, one reviewer found that route’s briefing thin, two raise the French-language balloon briefing, and two more raise the Domme stop and the boat headphones on the half day. Every one of those is on the page that carries the listing, in the reviews.
Prices move
Tour prices in the copy are spoken approximations per person in euros, read off the listings when the site was last built. Platform prices change with the season and the option chosen, so the availability widget on each page is the figure to trust wherever the copy is rounder. The castle’s tariff is its own published figure for 2026 and is printed once; the hours change with the season and a parking rate can change at any time. Corrections go to contact.
